Civil Service Live is the official Cabinet Office event where suppliers can speak and engage with over 6,000 civil servants from all departments across government.
Directed by Cabinet Secretary Sir Jeremy Heywood and Head of the Civil Service Sir Bob Kerslake, Civil Service Live is the official annual conference and exhibition for government.
Civil Service Live is being held from 3-5 July 2012 at London Olympia.
The event brings together thousands of central government leaders and decision makers from across all departments, agencies and non-departmental public bodies with the private/third sector and wider public sector - making it the most important government summit of the year.
At the 2011 event over 6,500 civil servants took part in over 200 content sessions and built relationships with over 100 suppliers from across the private sector.
The event is directed by Cabinet Secretary Sir Jeremy Heywood and Head of the Civil Service Sir Bob Kerslake (each department is targeted on attendance). 80 per cent of the content is organised with the Cabinet Office and each of the 28 departmental representatives.

Francis Maude stated at the Crown Suppliers Event in December: “If you have innovative ideas, no matter how radical, to run a service in a cheaper way then let us know – we need to know. I guarantee Government will be listening to your ideas.”
